Wonderful little sword!

Posted by Adolfo Alcaraz on May 15th 2019

I own 4 swords from VS and this is the baby of the bunch! It’s so small compared to ice I can’t help but find it humorous. It arrived a day earlier than expected and the packaging was unharmed. I appreciate the fact that this COA was unwrinkled! The COA coming out crumbled up is just about the only bad thing I have to say about these purchases. The small plaque was scuffed up out of the box
(light scratches) and the stainless steel blade had some white marks on it which I managed to buff out with a soft rag. Not complaining but after all these things cost quite a bit. But overall I love it! Thank you VS for these awesome swords!

    Shiny

#3912 here and why is the Stainless Steel sword so magnetic? The Pommel and grip have become loose with minimal flailing about. Very shiny and fun to wield.

Not the right blade, but is ok

Posted by Travis Kennedy on Jan 23rd 2019

While the craftsmanship is relatively good, I was extremely disappointed with the blade. Arya's blade in the show has a triangular profile, it is one of the main reasons I love the sword, the unique blade. The traditional style blade ruined the aesthetic of the blade in my opinion, definitely not an exact replica of the shows blade as is alluded to in the description. VS Response: This change was made for legal reasons due to restrictions on those sorts of blades.

    Love the sword but...

Posted by Taleena on Sep 26th 2018

I just got Needle from Think Geek in the mall. It’s made by Valyrian Steel but I am trying to figure out if it’s possibly defective. The blade doesn’t sit in the hilt straight. It sits crooked in the hilt. Diagonal. So the blade is kind of twisted in comparison to the hilt. It’s a nice sword though. And definitely “pointy”. Much sharper on the point than any other Valyrian Steel sword I own.

    Awesome!!!

Posted by Angel Rivera on Jul 13th 2018

I finally received Needle! I ordered it for my wife for Christmas, canceled due to backorder, reordered and received it July 2018. Worth the wait and she LOVES it. It is extremely realistic and has a great feel. The workmanship is on point! As for the crooked hilt, it is made that way for comfort. When held correctly, the crook fits perfect in the palm of the hand. Like I said, great workmanship. Next order, Longclaw Sword of Jon Snow.

    Worth the Wait

Posted by Mic on Jun 18th 2018

I ordered this as a Christmas gift back in December and it just arrived today
(June 18th), but I am not complaining. It’s absolutely beautiful. Solid and detailed. So, for anyone still waiting on the backorder, have faith and patience. It’s worth the wait. And who doesn’t love a little Christmas in June?

Now in our house we’ve got Longclaw, Catspaw and Needle, all absolutely top notch. Thanks Valyriansteel.com! You guys rock!

    Fine Product

Posted by Justin on Jan 1st 2017

Overall, this is a fine product just like the other swords produced by VS. I am very pleased with the way the sword turned out, and from afar it's looks flawless. However, I do have one complaint: the pommel. The pommel is tilted to one side and looks really uneven from every angle. After you notice it, it's really hard to not see it every time you look at the sword. I knew the hilt was going to be curved, as preivious reviews have stated and VS has confirmed that the original prop had this issue. I can only wonder if the original prop had the same issue with the tilted pommel? I assume this must be the case as both of the swords I received have the same issue with tilted pommels. I understand VS is being faithful to the props when they replicate these types of errors, but honestly I'd rather own swords that are true to the INTENTION of the prop designs rather than obvious flaws that become eye sores once you notice them. At the end of the day, I love GoT and VS and I will continue to purchase from them.... I just thought I would give my 2 cents on the issue.
